Issue/Introduction

The db sync is failing to the backup due to a TCP reset.

RCPD.OUT

Jan 19 12:13:15 : Successfully connected to remote rcpd.  Initiating file transfer...
Jan 19 12:13:15 : Starting file transfer using 4194304 byte application buffer, 4194304 byte TCP socket buffer.
sndmsg failed. Last known error = 9
Jan 19 12:14:02 : Failure during file transfer. Check the RCPD.OUT file on the
remote machine for errors. If RCPD.OUT does not exist on the
remote machine, then most likely the remote rcpd did not
have write permission in the SS directory. Make sure the
user running the primary SpectroSERVER has write permission
on the remote machine.
Jan 19 12:14:02 : Final status is -1

Cause

The db save file was larger than 4GB (32 bit)

Resolution

Resolved in patches Spectrum_21.02.08.PTF_21.2.815 and Spectrum_21.02.12.PTF_21.2.1201 and included in 22.2.1 and above.
