Custom agent not working after re-registering in FIPS "MIGRATE"

Issue/Introduction

A custom agent, running in MIGRATE is not able to use a SiteMinder session created at an agent running COMPAT mode. 

 

Environment

Release : 12.8

Component : SITEMINDER -WEB AGENT FOR IIS

Policy servers are running in MIGRATE mode.

Cause

An pure java SDK agent, running in migrate mode is not able to use a session created by an agent running in compat mode.

Resolution

This is a known defect and a fix will be available. This will be addressed in a future product release.

If you are experiencing this issue, open a ticket with support.

Agents created with the JNI Java SDK are not affected.
