Issue/Introduction

An append blob and block blobs were setup for scanning with CWP for Storage on Azure.   Files added to the append blob are not scanned.  However, files added to the block blog are scanned.

Cause

CWP for Storage - Azure currently supports only block blob as blob type, and storage accounts of General-purpose v2 (GPv2) standard and Blob types.

Resolution

Create block blobs for scanning when using CWP for Storage with Azure.
