SESC clients take 48 hours before showing an offline status in the ICDM

Issue/Introduction

The ICDM managed device connection status is inaccurate. Systems that show as online in the ICDM console are actually offline.

 

Environment

Release : 14.3 RU5

Component : SESC client

Cause

This is working as designed. The ICDM will consider a client offline when it has not registered with the cloud in more than 48 hours. 

Resolution

It is normal for clients to take 48 hours to show offline in the ICDM.
