SESC client does not use custom Firewall rules when Quarantined

Issue/Introduction

The Default Quarantine Firewall Policy contains added custom rules. The client does not honor these rules when Quarantined. 

 

 

 

Environment

Release : 14.3 RU5

Component : Firewall

Cause

The SESC client uses the only the rules present by default in the Default Quarantine Firewall Policy. All other rules are ignored, which is by design. 

Resolution

In order to apply custom rules, use another Firewall policy. Alternatively, once the client is released from Quarantine, it can use any Firewall policy with custom rules.
