DSNH024I error issued during COBOL compile

Issue/Introduction

During the execution of an Endevor Generate processor, the DB2 pre-compiler program DSNHPC issued error DSNH024I due to an obsolete parameter being passed. 

PARM='HOST(COB2),APOST,APOSTSQL,&SOURCE'

DSNH024I W     DSNHOPTS  SUBOPTION "COB2" INVALID FOR OPTION "HOST"

 Explanation                                                       
 The identified suboption is not allowed for the option specified.

Resolution

The reason for the error is the wrong Host parameter is coded.  Review the use of  IBMCOB for Enterprise Cobol for z/OS
