How to export all policy objects(agent,hco,aco,directory objects,Authschems,trustedhosts,Domains) in a bunch for backup purpose before i perform any change to policy domains

Issue/Introduction

How to export all policy objects(agent,hco,aco,directory objects,Authschems,trustedhosts,Domains). 

 

 

Environment

Release : 12.8.05

Component : SMPLC

Cause

For Backup purpose, in a Bunch / whole,

Before We perform any changes to the Policy Domains.

Resolution

Type the following command on the SiteMinder server to create a full back-up with all objects:

XPSExport outputexport.xml -xb –npass -vT

or

XPSExport -xb backup.xml -npass

To export a specific domain:

XPSExport.exe <file name>-xo CA.SM::Domain@<xid>
