Issue/Introduction

As CentOS is end of support, we would like to install DX NetOps Spectrum & CAPM on CentOS Stream.

Can you verify whether we can install Spectrum 21.2.12 on CentOS Stream or not?

Resolution

We have not tested Spectrum or CAPM directly on CentOS Stream. However, we support installation of Spectrum & CAPM on Linux variants that are compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) as per the following:

Since CentOS Stream is a pre-release of the next version of RHEL as per:

Red Hat FAQ : Why was CentOS Stream created?

it should work however, if we find some issues due to the underlying CentOS Stream OS, then we will ask that you change the OS to a supported release.
