Stopping of the IDS service for DCS Windows Agents is hanging and causing high CPU usage which results in a lock up of the server.

This issue has been fixed in DCS Agent Version 6.9.2.2174, you will need to update to the new Agent version (or Higher)
Installation Note: If you are upgrading a prior version, you will need to disable the DCS IDS Service and reboot the server prior to the upgrade or the service will lock up.

Steps: Change the IDS service via registry to disabled, reboot, install, change registry key back, reboot
Details
1. Change “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SISIDSService\Start” to “4” and Reboot the system
2. Make sure the sisidsservice services is stopped after the system has restarted
3. Upgrade the DCS Agent to 6.9.2.2174
4. Change “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SISIDSService\Start” to “2” and Reboot the system
OR Start the IDS service manually if not using IPS with the following command
sisservicectrl start sisidsservice
