Workflow cannot be deactivated, shows status as 'Still Active'

Issue/Introduction

When viewing the execution list for a workflow, one run shows the status as Still Active:

In the Workflow View if you select Modify Workflow the following error is displayed

Runtime error in object 'XMODIRY JOBP(GET)' line '00089'. Object with RunID 'xxxxxxxxxx' not found

In the execution list, there is no option in the context menu to set or change the state manually.

Cause

The Workflow is already deactivated but has an inconsistent state in Process Monitoring.

Please contact support to request assistance with the cleanup of this workflow run.
