Issue/Introduction

What rights are needed to grant to a user/role to allow a DLP user to be able to maintain the Sender / Recipient Patterns?

Resolution

Reference the Configuring roles section in the Symantec Data Loss Prevention Help Center; Configuring Roles.
Configure a ROLE and assign "Author Policies" and select the Policy Groups that the user/role should be allowed to author.
You can select "All Policy Groups" if you wish to grant the user/role the ability to configure the Sender / Recipient Patterns for all policy groups.
