We want to upgrade MIB file in Spectrum OneClick, will this overwrite our existing mappings?

Issue/Introduction

We have an existing mib that has a newer version and we want to upgrade that mib in Spectrum OneClick.

If we compile the mib, we get a warning that the mib already exists and asks us if we want to overwrite.

We would like to know if we say yes, will it overwrite our existing mappings too.

Release :Spectrum 10.4.x, 21.2.x

Resolution

You can update mibs in Spectrum by overwriting the older mibs (option is giving after compiling the mib) and none of the mappings will be affected.

If there are any new mib attributes or traps they will show up unmapped when the mib is updated.
