RC/Migrator for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

RC/M Global Operational Parameters option(2 - RC/Migrator Profile Variables) in the RC/Migrator Expert Profile.

One of the Global Operational Parameters screens is for setting global defaults for analysis, recovery, and ICL output, and managed output maintenance specifications.

This is accessed from the "UPDATE OUTPUT SPECIFICATIONS ===> N Y - View or update analysis output speci-
fications." field in RC/M Global Operational Parameters.

This is where the default setting for a user is set , however this can be temporarily changed!

Environment

DB2 for Z/OS

Release : R20

Resolution

There is a command available during a Strategy Analysis called the "Output" command. At the Strategy Analysis submission panel it allows the user to temporarily toggle the destination of the analysis output data for the current analysis. This happens without altering your default RC/M Global Operational Parameters.  The analysis output data can be directed to either a dataset or an RC/M-managed Output.  For example, if the panel initially displays Output Dataset  fields such as this(your current default),
