API Gateway GMU Error

Issue/Introduction

The Gateway migration utility (GMU) throws this error when trying with migrateOut switch:

Execution failed. Reason: javax/activation/DataSource

 

Environment

Release : 10.1

Component : GMU

Cause

Java version incompatibility caused this issue

Resolution

The Gateway version 10.1 supports Java 11 and the newest GMU version 1.8 also supports Java 11. If you try to use an older GMU with the newer Gateway or a newer GMU with an older Gateway, you may get this error "Execution failed. Reason: javax/activation/DataSource"

• Use GMU 1.8 with Gateway 10.1 (all CRs)
• Use GMU 1.7.02 with Gateway 10 (all CRs)
