Issue/Introduction

Getting Failed to execute ModifyProvisioningRoleEvent: Error Message: This method requires presence of an attribute which was not provided. The attribute is named policyHandles

Repair steps by the customer to be done and documented.


1) Compare the exports for Role objects that may have special characters.
2) Run the SQL query script on the IM_ROLE table.   Find any Role with any special characters.
3) Enable im=DEBUG and ims=DEBUG to capture the true RCA error message.

Identify "bad" roles and add notes for clean up, which may require manual delete from the IME.
