Issue/Introduction

Is there a version of UIM robot that is compatible with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9.x and later releases?

Resolution

Robot 9.36 (released with DX UIM 20.4 CU4) and higher supports the RedHat platform.  As noted in the DX UIM Compatibility Matrix for Linux servers:

For RHEL, robot installation has a dependency on the OS packages: chkconfig and initscripts. These packages may not be bundled by default in newer versions. Ensure that you install these packages before installing the robot.

All robot versions after Robot 9.36 would be supported on the RHEL platform that have these packages installed.
