Issue/Introduction
When polling the devices, we see data gaps, intermittent data.
Environment
Release : All supported releases.
Component : PM Polling
Cause
When looking at detail poll logging form dcdebug, or directly querying with SNMP tools, we can see the octet counters (ifHcInOctets, ifHCOutOctets, ifInOctets, ifOutOctets) flipping between a large value and zero.

Resolution
This issue has been demonstrated to be a result of two Cisco defects CSCvt08435/CSCwc38959,
