Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

There were three ACF2 lpars in the Sysplex are connected to the same structure in the Coupling Facility, two of the lpars were configured with the GSO SYSPLEX LISDS and RULES database cached and the third only had the LIDS database cached. All of the lpars connected to the structure in the SYSPLEX Coupling Facility connected to the same structure in the Coupling Facility must be using the same set of ACF2 databases(data set names).

ACF2 Documentation Reference: SYSPLEX XES Service

All the systems using XES sharing on one database must have the same database names for the other two, even if you are not planning on sharing the other two databases. The check is done on the data set name (DSN) and volume serial number (VOLSER) associated with each ACF2 database. For example, if sharing the logonid database, the rules and infostorage database names must also match, even if they are not being shared.
