Issue/Introduction

Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) unable to update definitions.

Unable to Launch Luall.exe

Uninstall/ Reinstall SEPM Liveupdate and register again still experiences a crash.

Environment

Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEPM) 14.3 MP1 and earlier versions.

 

Resolution

Upgrade to latest SEPM version as it's replaced with new Liveupdate component. 

As a workaround, use JDB to update definitions on SEPM if upgrade cannot be performed immediately.
