TDM Portal version 4.10.56 user session hangs when testing a DB2 connection profile using our inhouse plugin

Issue/Introduction

We have just patched our TDM portal yesterday from version 4.10.29 to 4.10.56, but now when we try testing a DB2 connection profile using our inhouse plugin, the TEST and DONE button don't work and causes the user session to hang. No other action in the portal is possible and we need to close the browser or wait until the portal respond back.

Although, we patch another TDM portal server from version 4.10.49 to version 4.10.56 and everything works fine on this one.

Cause

The Portal code did not handle the "Unhappy" path.  Defect DE540478 created.

Resolution

We found the issue and fixed it. It was clearly a missing access to the end point.
