New alerts are not working and in unknown state

Issue/Introduction

New Alerts are not active and in unknown state. Configured alerts look right from the metrics grouping view and alerts view the graph with data points is visible but the alerts are still in an unknown state.

Release : 21.3

Component : Introscope

Cause

The metrics (where the alerts are being setup) are directly reported to NASS.

Resolution

Only metrics reported via EM, like Agent metrics or EM generated supportability metrics, can work with transitional EM Alert/Calculator etc.

For all other metrics reported directly to NASS via API, EM metric subscription based features won't work as EM doesn't see those metrics at all. This is working as designed.
