Issue/Introduction
The Oracle Archive Redo logs are filling up the disk 100%, Clarity would generate a lot more Archive Logs, and there is no more space left in the folder which causes the entire database server to freeze

Resolution
The issue you are facing is not a Clarity but an Oracle issue. It has to do with Oracle Redo Archive log space and the database configuration. The DBA should be engaged to assist you.
There is the option of deleting some of the files, ensuring the DB config is correct etc.
One quick thing you can do is to add storage. Alternatively, you may want to raise a case with Oracle Support to assist.
The reason why this works well on one environment and not another may be because some database parameters are different such as db_recovery_file_dest_size, or how the archiving is set up.
Additional Information
Question: Why is the Oracle Archive logs directory filling up overnight with no Clarity application usage? This could be explained by processes or scheduled jobs, it is typical for Clarity application to be running scheduled jobs or processes which can account for large amounts of transactions. This happens without any user activity. Note Clarity is an application able to handle high volume of SQL transactions from user activity/jobs/processes.
