Application not available after refreshing non-production system

Issue/Introduction

A non-production system (such as the Development system), has been refreshed from the Production system. When services are started after the refresh, the following error is noticeable in the app-ca.log. The URL of the application does not load.

ERROR 2022-07-11 12:45:32,211 [http-nio-80-exec-3] niku.union (none:none:none:none) Clarity 16.0.1.838 failed to initialize. 
com.niku.union.config.ConfigurationException: The application failed to start because of a database configuration problem.  Please review the application log for specific error information.

Cause

Mismatch between the folder structure version and the DB version.

Resolution

• Copy the folder structure also from the source system
• Make appropriate changes to remove pointers to the source system
