Spool - Printer not processing

Issue/Introduction

Before upgrading to Spool release 14.0, we are testing release 12.0, using IVP.

There, we found all the jobs queued in the Spool printer and Printer in a drained state.

When we tried putting "Y" into action, we could see a list of jobs stay there and not received via email using an IVP job.

We tried to Issue S in action to start Printer and no progress in printer status.

Resolution

The client had printers set up to print class 9, as below, under the 'Q' column, there is a "9":

The client had files in class A, as below, under the 'Q' column, there is an "A":

It was suggested to the client to, in the printer menu, add A, or replace 9 with A, and the files would ten be eligible to be selected for work by the printer.
