Issue/Introduction

If copy the master file using the BKUPDISK utility, will the SAFQUAL= setting be inherited?

Release : 4.4

 

Resolution

The BKUPDISK utility takes over the SAFQUAL= setting.  So, you do not need to re-run -OPT REINIT,SAFQUAL=xxxx.

Also, you can check the SAFQUAL= setting by -OPT INDEX(S).
