Issue/Introduction

You are trying to configure a SharePoint scan without installing the SharePoint solution in Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
When running the Get-SPWebApplication command on the DLP Detection Server it fails with this error:

Get-SPWebApplication : The term 'Get-SPWebApplication' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

Environment

Release: 15.x

Resolution

The Get-SPWebApplication command must be run on the SharePoint server.
