Cumulative patch b576 keeps applying to the NES install folder - not the NAC

Issue/Introduction

We are attempting to install the b576 cumulative patch to a NAC and NES installed on the same server - different folders. When applying the patch it keeps targeting the NES install folder. How do we apply it to the NAC installed in a different folder? 

 

Environment

Release : 6.7

Component : Nolio Management Server

Resolution

If the patch installer does not detect an installation that it can upgrade then it will automatically prompt you for the directory where to apply the patch. 

If the patch installer does detect an installation that it can upgrade then it will prompt you with two options: 

• Use existing install [option 1]; or
• Point to a different install [option 2]

Use option 2 to be prompted with where to apply the patch. This way you can be sure which directory/install is being updated.
