ORA-01017 Invalid password error creating the nas database tables

Issue/Introduction

nas is unable to create its tables in an Oracle database and is getting this error:

Environment

• Release : 20.4
• Component : UIM - DATA_ENGINE
• nas

Cause

nas is unable to correctly decrypt the database password from the data_engine.

There is a + sign in the database password that nas is not decrypting correctly resulting in a bad password error.

Resolution

1. Don't use the + sign.
2. Verified that _ works fine.
3. Reset the Oracle user password.
4. Update the password field in the data_engine
5. Restart the robot
