Issue/Introduction

When trying to do an TSS GENREQ to generate a certificate request to be sent to a certificate authority for an existing certificate via:

TSS GENREQ(acid) DIGICERT(digicert) DCDSN(data.set.name) LABLCERT(label)

The following error occurs:

TSS0441E INVALID DIGITAL CERTIFICATE NAME

Component : Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

The 'acid' in the TSS GENREQ(acid) ... needs to specify the ACID that owns the certificate. In this case, the CERTAUTH ACID owned the certificate, so the command should be:

TSS GENREQ(CERTAUTH) DIGICERT(digicert) DCDSN(data.set.name) LABLCERT(label)
