Tasks, Milestones and Phases in new UX Tasks Workspace

Issue/Introduction

The count of tasks when filtered for a project name in the new UX tasks workspace does not match with the actual number of tasks on the project. 

Environment

Release : 15.9.3

Component : Clarity MUX UI Tasks

Cause

The new UX tasks workspace in 15.9.3 version does not display Milestones and Phases where as in classic you can view Tasks, Milestones and Phases. Navigate to classic UI and filter for Tasks=Yes and Milestone=No on Project tasks, the count on tasks after applying the filter matches with tasks count in new UX tasks workspace. This is how the new UX tasks workspace module was designed initially in 15.9.3 version.

Resolution

The new UX Tasks workspace module has been enhanced gradually in later versions and in 16.0.2 version, the tasks workspace displays data of Milestones and Phases along with Tasks. It also displays data for multiple objects i.e. Tasks, Projects, Common investments etc.
