Failed to upload Access logs to reporter with FTPS

Issue/Introduction

Access log sending failed on FTPS

Environment

Release : 10.6.x

Component : FTPS

Resolution

A related issue with reporter bug where file 'nossl_vsftpd.conf ' missing/corrupted after upgrade to 10.6.X.

Discovery: not receive any further logs on the reporter.

Below workaround has worked for some of the customers, if the FTP file is not fully corrupted

- Login to the reporter

- Disable FTP services

- Restart Reporter

- Enable FTP services

Once above is done, we can test the upload again.

In case either workaround does not work (which we have seen with other customers), in that case, last option would be to take a backup of RAW logs on the reporter, factory default settings, rebuild the database from scratch and reprocess raw logs.

Another option would be to use SCP instead of FTP.

SCP( Secure Copy) is also a secure protocol which uses port 2024.
