Issue/Introduction

Current TPX STC's JCL has the following coded for the DD:LOG file:
//LOG DD SYSOUT=*

this goes to JES default output msgclass, which is set to G.
However,  viewing SDSF it is noticed that the LOG file is allocated to msgclass C.

The  STC's JESMSGLG displays
TPX501 LOG DATASET DYNAMICALLY ALLOCATED

Regardless of the JCL definitions for DD:LOG, the product is reallocating that file to a different message class on its own.
What is the setting to either disable this and let it default to JCL or to change the msgclass of the dynamic reallocation?

Environment

Release : 5.4

Component : TPX for z/OS

Resolution

Under SMRT 8) Operational Parameters, change the LOG class to over-ride to what is required.
