Issue/Introduction

How can Event 0x4560006 SPM Latency Threshold Exceeded  Event be set to auto clear since the 0x4560000 SPM Result Event doesn't clear it?

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum Release 20.2 or later

Resolution

The 0x04560006 generates an alarm with PCAUSE 0x04560003.  Event 0x04560007 clears 0x04560003:

# ev 4560006

/usr/Spectrum/SS/CsVendor/Aprisma_RTM/EventDisp

7:0x04560006 E 70 A 3,0x04560003

# ev 04560003

/usr/Spectrum/SS/CsVendor/Aprisma_RTM/EventDisp

4:0x04560003 E 20

5:0x04560004 E 20 A 1,0x04560003

6:0x04560005 E 50 A 2,0x04560003

7:0x04560006 E 70 A 3,0x04560003

8:0x04560007 E 20 C 0x04560003

The 0x04560003 is the Probable Cause (PCAUSE) code, not an event. So you won't see it in the Event list.

You can edit the SPM test and set Latency status to Disabled. This will clear the Alarm.
