ZDU 12.x to 21.0 throwing No communication processes of the new version is active.

Issue/Introduction

While upgrading from 12.x to 21.0 using the ZDU, the following 21.0 processes have been started:

WP
JWP
JCP
REST

The JCP has not bound to any of the ports set in the WS.PORT in the ucsrv.ini file.  An error is thrown onto the screen:

No communication processes of the new version is active.

Release : 21.0.2

Cause

This is by design - a 21.0 'regular' CP is needed for the ZDU

Resolution

Be sure that a "regular" CP on version 21.0 is started (this will use the CP.PORTS setting in the ucsrv.ini file) - this is needed since the ZDU is still on the older 12.x version and requires a CP of the new version to be active.

The JCP will bind to its ports at step 4 of the ZDU.
