Resolution

  1. First verify the noted path exists.   
  2. Second verify that the filesystem is mounted:  When the catalog cannot be found and the path is there, but nothing is included, then most of the time the filesystem isn't mounted.. During the installation of SYSVIEW16.0 there is a ZFS/HFS filesystem created, mounted and available during the installation.

Note that when an IPL occurs, the filesystem is no longer automatically mounted anymore.. Therefore, we recommend that it be added into the BPXPRMxx parmlib member in order to be mounted again after an IPL; otherwise, it is not available for reference... Check the INST0002 job for the mount point instructions...
