How long for group changes to be reflected in OpenAPI queries

Issue/Introduction

How long after making a group change in the DX Netops Portal will the change be reflected in OpenAPI queries?

Resolution

For existing devices/components, if you make a group change, you would need to wait for the Data Aggregator sync (specifically the PUSH to the Data Aggregator ) to complete after the change, then you would see the group change shortly thereafter (within a minute or so).

For new devices/components, the OpenAPI ETL config processing job runs once an hour so you wouldn't see the device for up to 1 hour after discovery depending on when it is discovered in relation to the OData ETL processing.

Therefore if you add a newly discovered item to a group, it would not be reflected until the processing noted above occurs.
