Issue/Introduction

How to delete a list of user accounts from CA Roscoe? Is there a way other than deleting them one by one?

Roscoe® Interactive Environment

Resolution

The User Accounts will be deleted, but the users' member libraries will be preserved. 

UPSBLK60 can be used to delete user keys. Sign onto the UPS account.

1. Prepare the list of keys to be deleted in the AWS in the following format
   (Type I on the command line to do this)
   
   BEGIN DELETE KEY=GREEN
END
BEGIN DELETE KEY=BLACK
END
    
2. Execute UPSBLK60 by typing
   UPSBLK60
   This will execute the list of deletions
   Do a ROZAP REFRESH UPS to update the UPS table in memory.

This may also be performed from another account if you have administrator authority.

       3. You should then execute the ROSMAILS batch utility to delete any unattached entries just to be sure the delete and cleanup
            is fully completed. This is documented in the CA Roscoe Programs and Utilities Guide section page 4-76
