What is the purpose of the Recovery Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PRA) PRA#LOAD batch job.

Resolution

The PRA#LOAD batch job is used to retrieve and save information needed for object and volume recovery. The PRA#LOAD batch job obtains object information
from the Db2 catalog and dataset information from the VTOC (Volume Table Of Contents). The information is placed into product specific versions of the PRA Db2 tables.
Using its own tables, PRA can quickly perform analysis without accessing the Db2 catalog.

The PRA#LOAD batch job is created during the customization step of the Post Install process.
