Sharepoint solution unable to connect to the database error

Issue/Introduction

 Customer was unable to install the SharePoint solution due to a database connectivity issue from SharePoint.

Resolution

Step 1:- Installing the solution we see this error.

 

 

Step 2 :-  We see the solution was partially deployed , as we see globally deployed status is missing.

 

Step 3:- We try to retract the  solution immediately but it does not uninstall/retract

 

 

 

Step 4:- Tried to retract , we see the following error.

 

Step 5:- Rebooted the server  and ran the solution setup file to remove it .

 

Step 6:- Removed the solution successfully.

Step 7:-  Reinstalled the solution with no errors
