New ACF2 for z/VM install, MAINT logonid suspended

Issue/Introduction

When trying to log on with MAINT, too many wrong attempts were made and now the ACF2 for z/VM MAINT logonid is suspended.
Tried to use the panels (ACFFS) to resolve, but none of the other VM logonids are authorized to "un-suspend" MAINT.

How can this logonid be unsuspended?

Release : 12.0

Component : ACF2 for z/VM

z/VM: 7.2

Resolution

IPL the system with the NOAUTO CA ACF2 for z/VM option. Issue the "ACFSERVE ENABLE NOAUTO UPDATES" command to start the service machine to allow updates, then use ACF2 for z/VM to change MAINT's PSWD-VIO to 0.
