Issue/Introduction

There is an issue accessing the proxy Java management console either using the JNLP or the Java Launcher.

In order to further investigate on the Java, sometimes there is a requirement to get a much more detailed Java debug and we could achieve this by setting the debugging level to 5.

Resolution

Below are the steps on how to set the Java debug to certain Level or Level 5:

1. Make sure the options below are enabled under the Java console:

2. Once you launched the Java JNLP file or the Java Launcher, you will see the following windows, DO NOT click on the "OK" button yet.

3. Bring your cursor and click on the Java console. Then just type "5" (you will not see a cursor on the Java console when you click your cursor on it, this is expected, just type the number "5") and it will show the following output from the Java console.

4. Then click on the "OK" button on the following window.

5. DO NOT click on the "OK" button on the next window yet because the Java console window will close as well if you click the "OK" button. So copy the Java console output or debug first before you click on the "OK" button that says unable to connect to the device.
