Is it possible to set up the promotion to QA under the Programmer or Requestor function while promotion to Production remains the sole domain of the Control Group ID designate?

Issue/Introduction

Currently the promotion to QA and Production fall under the CCF functionality of the Control Group. Is it possible to separate these roles so that promotion to QA is under the Programmer or Requestor function while promotion to Production remains the sole domain of the Control Group ID designates?

Resolution

Yes, CCF Promotion to QA and Production roles can be separate. 

1. Go to CCF Option 12.11 to the 'CHAIN ATTRIBUTES' panel, notice the LOGIN MOVE column.
2. Set this to Y for the test and reject libraries, processing from Option 5 will cause the member to be moved to the next QA master file. 
3. Movement from QA master files can only be done in CCF Option 9.
