Java upgrade options for AutoSys

Issue/Introduction

AutoSys provides OpenJDK 1.8.x version. To update/upgrade this, instructions are available on TechDocs.

There is no documentation on where to download these Java modules.

Environment

Workload Automation AutoSys

Resolution

Make sure to use 64 bit Java 8.   Other releases are not supported at this time.

1. If you have a direct contract with Oracle, you can download and use Oracle Java directly from Oracle websites.
   
   
2. Other options:
   1. Download Temurin 8
   2. IBM Java  --> make sure to select Java 8
   3. Download Zulu 8 Java

Follow the steps in the AutoSys instructions to use the above modules and replace the existing JREs
