How to turn on external security for RPF's and Write Rules for Your Security Package.

TSS, ACF2 or RACF

Resolution

In order to control execution of RPF's:

  • To Run with external security for CA Roscoe, you must set at least these two startup parameters: 

ACFEXT=YES and
EXTSEC= (TSS, ACF2 or RACF)

  • Specify external security for RPF's with the CA Roscoe startup parameter:

RPFEXT=YES

  • Write rules for your security system in this format:

EXEC pfx.mem     [rosid.]ROSCMD.RPF.pfx.mem
