MacKinney DBLC fails to OPEN a DB URT but MBCE137 message has no RC

Issue/Introduction

Trying to open, via a MacKinney Batch to CICS job, a Datacom URT on a CICS region where there is no PPT for that URT program.

The OPEN obviously fails, but the DB Return Code passed by the MacKinney error message is blank:

MacKinney support states that they are simply displaying the Return Code returned by Datacom.

Resolution

When a URT has no PPT entry, the error message (DC00202I  URT nnnn-mmmm HAVE NO CSD ENTRIES) is returned by Datacom CICS Services before Datacom could issue the OPEN, so there is no Datacom Return Code.
