SiteMinder WAM UI : "Unable to establish administration context." error

Issue/Introduction

On WAM UI installation and able to log into the WAM UI, but below error is seen:

Unable to establish administration context

Cause

The above error is displayed when the WAM UI is able to Authenticate the User; since the User is a valid user in the Administrative User Directory, however, the given user has not been granted appropriate privileges in the eXtended Policy Store.

Resolution

Solution

->login to the WAMUI with an administrative user account that has the privliges to create administrators and create a new administrator.

->The new administrator has to point to this user and should be granted appropriate privileges.
