Altiris Agent inventory details are not showing for Windows 10 after applying the 8.5RU4 Pointfixes

Issue/Introduction

After the SMP 8.5 (RU4) PointFix is applied then the Resource name, Domain, and Server are no longer displayed for Win10 workstations.  The Agent registration and updates fail.

Environment

ITMS 8.5RU4 PointFix

Cause

For some reason the "dbo.Inv_AeX_AC_Identification" table was showsing the "Full Name" column instead of "DisplayVersion" column.

This "DisplayVersion" column is introduced with the pointfix to support newer versions of Win10 such as 21H2 and etc.

 

Resolution

Rename this "Full Name" column to "DisplayVersion" as shown here:
