Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to z/OS 2.4 RSU2202 noticed the ESP task hit the following SVC dumps.

Cause

It was determined this abend was caused by BMC product IAM.

From the Vendor:

SYMPTOMS :  S0C4 at 32E in IAM026DU

PROBLEM  :  the code was looking at RBs of another TCB within its own address space without protection of the local lock.  The source was change to add this protection and prevent the abend. 

Resolution

SOLUTION : For IAM 10.00.02,

Apply P10.0149.
