Issue/Introduction

Running DB2 version 12. Transactions (threads) becoming "hung" in CICS while attempting a DB2 call. IBM points to ENFDB2 module CASR230L

 

Environment

Release : 15.0 - Common Services ENF/DB2

Release 1.3 - ACF2/DB2

Cause

Transactions becoming "hung" in CICS while attempting a Db2 call after applying LU00181 

Resolution

Apply LU05750 which corrects PE'd PTF LU00181
