Issue/Introduction

Without knowing the version of Easytrieve that is being used to compile a program, how may one confirm if the program is being generated in Easytrieve compatibility mode or under true release of 11.6?  Where is this information found?

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

When compiling an Easytrieve program, if the R11.6 Options File has NEWFUNC Y, the following will be displayed at the top of each page of the listing:

                   Easytrieve 11.6    SP0 

When compiling an Easytrieve program with the Continuous Delivery Level Set PTF LU06812 installed, then this will be shown in the listing:

                 Easytrieve 11.6.01 

When compiling an Easytrieve program under Compatibility Mode, then this will be displayed:

                 EASYTRIEVE PLUS 11.6-C SP0

in the listing.
